Friday Fancies : Pretty in Pastels

After 6 hours in the hair salon yesterday ( i kid you not), this is the final result.  It took a couple of tries to get it right, and I'm actually kind of pleased with the result ( I think).  I still would have liked it a little lighter, but usually my hair lightens up when I wash and straighten it a few times.  You can't really tell in these pictures, but underneath I'm sporting a few blonde (blonde! eek!) strands.  I kinda feel rebellious - I'm a brunette and a blonde at the same time.  

Who woulda thought!

 I leave you with a pretty picture of what I wish my yard was full of - gorgeous pink roses.

    oh my gosh you look BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Your hair looks amazing!! And i love love love your pastel outfit! :) And haha I can believe the whole 6 hours thing... last time I went to a really nice salon to get my ombre done I was there for 4 & a half hours... I was going slightly crazy honestly because the lady doing my hair didn't talk much & my phone battery was about at 3% when I finally left because I spent most of those hours on Pinterest hahaha. Anyway it looks fabulous! :) Hope you have a great weekend!

    I totally know what you mean about spending hours in the hair dresser and not just on your wedding day! Had to do it myself a couple of months ago. Yours looks awesome and will look even better once it's had a few washes. Loving the pastels on you and the flowery background! x
