I've been seeing edible flowers getting a lot of attention lately and I have to say I'm intrigued. Whether it's candied or covered in chocolate, just the idea of edible flowers gets me excited. It doesn't hurt that it makes for a gorgeous presentation too. Since not all flowers are created equal here's a quick heads-up on a few blooms you can consume : pansies, zucchini ,marigolds, margarita daisies, saffron, roses, lavender, hibiscus, and chrysanthemum daisies. Just make sure you buy organic, pesticide-free flowers and to only eat the petals!
