As many of you may already know, November is the National Alzheimer's Awareness Month and is celebrated with the color purple. Over 5.2 million Americans are diagnosed with Alzheimer's and it is the 7th leading cause of death. Wow, I didn't know the statistics were so overwhelming!! My father passed away at a young age due to this disease, so I know how heart breaking it can be to watch a loved one suffer from Alzheimer's. I thought I'd celebrate this month with some pretty purple rooms. Here's to all of those fighting this disease and an incredible man that I never got to know .
