Thanksgiving Day Outfit

I can't believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving!! Where did the time go?!  And the school semester is almost over.. I need more time! Agh!  Could someone invent a time machine already?  Please? Pretty Please? Pretty please with sugar on top?  Okay, I'll stop now.

Anyways, Thanksgiving is a time when the whole family gathers so naturally theres a lot of picture taking.  As much as I'd like to look like Penelope Cruz in those photos I know I won't (*tear*).  So,  here's a little outfit that I've put together that will hopefully be cute and comfortable.  What do you guys think?

I got the shirt and skirt from Forever 21 and the stocking I picked up at Marshalls a few weeks ago.  The shirt will be tucked into the skirt and hopefully my stockings won't be sliding down my legs the whole time, haha!  I'm still debating on shoes.  While, I'd love to wear a pair like the girl in the skirt photo, I don't think I'll find something similar by tomorrow (tommorow, eek!).

What do you think?  Cute or no cigar?  Any different variations or something I could do for added "oomph"?

Oh, did I mention that I'm so behind I haven't even purchased the mini pumpkins?  Bad Nuha!  Okay I'm off to class!

Happy Thanksgiving!  I truly hope that it will be a beautiful day for everyone around.
xoxo

P.S.

How could I forget this?  What are you thankful for?
I'm thankful for
My incredibly supportive family.  I could not do ANYTHING without them.
My friends.  Nursing school is tough, but I've got some great friends.
A roof over our head, and food in the fridge.  (Maybe a little bit too much, I need to learn some self-control.)
That my cousins are here from overseas and they will be spending their first Thanksgiving with us.  So excited!
And last but not least, this wonderful blog.  Thank you all for such sweet comments.  I really enjoy getting to know you.

Now let the cooking begin!
