heading west!



After (not so) patiently waiting for the opportunity to take a vacation, Alaa and I have finally decided to head West in a few weeks.  We'll be splitting our time between San Diego and L.A. and will be doing lots and lots of eating, shopping, and beach hopping in between.  To say that I'm excited is an understatement!  Do you have any recommendations about where to eat, shop, and roam in these two gorgeous cities?  I'd love to hear your recommendations!  And if any of you live in either San Diego or L.A. maybe we could get together and play for a few hours?  Just e-mail me!

    San Diego is one of the best places in the world! For me, its not a real trip to SD if I don't get to visit Catalina island.

    San Diego is the best! Not biased or anything (just live here...ha). The Gaslamp area in downtown is great for restaurants and I just love Cardiff by the Sea. Cute little beach town with good Mexican food.

    Have so much fun!!! Both cities are fabulous and I love visiting. You have to go to Katsuya in LA. One time I actually made a trip to LA just for the food. Serious craving. The crispy rice & spicy tuna is to die for! Luckily I hear they're finally opening one here in NYC so I won't have to go to such extremes ever again :)
