sweet reprieve

 Just one day after asking for a sweet reprieve from the early heat, I got exactly what I asked for:  gorgeously spring like weather that was warm enough to forgo heavy coats, but cool enough to layer on a few pieces.  We enjoyed the weather by partaking in a game of paint balling.  I was lucky enough to avoid getting hit, but Alaa now has two huge knots and can I say that I'm a little jealous?  Bruises are like battle wounds, they're super cool and it makes me feel like I've survived something DANGEROUS.
And this my friends is my life in a nutshell : bruises make me feel dangerous- who cares that I most likely got it from falling out of bed or running into a wall.  I'm dangerous.
