Pandora's Box

Growing up, my sisters and I weren't the really close -tell-all-of-your-secrets-to type.  We defended each other when necessary, and beat the crap out of each other when necessary.  Good times.  Good times.  One of the things that I miss most about living at home is sneaking into my older sisters room and "borrowing" her stuff.  She has everything from belts to scarves, earring to clutches, and make-up galore.  Simply put, I'm a cheapo money concious, and worry about every little penny..where as if it makes her happy, she gets it.

Beneath all of the laundry, shopping bags, and shoe boxes...there is this and boy do I love this.

Lucky for me she only lives 10 minutes away :)

  6. Oh my goodness - it was the exact same with me and my older sister...she's been into high-end make-up since forever, so it's always fun to get mini-makeovers from her - and her costume jewelry selection is unbelievable!

It's good that she never wants to borrow my stuff though - I'm not very good at sharing! Because I'm younger, I can get away with this double standard :-P

  11. Nice! I have 3 sisters near my age, and like you, weren't necessarily bosom buddies but still did a lot together. Unlike you, my sisters don't live close. Lucky you! I say mooch all you can. That's what family is for, right? ;)

  12. Not only is that an incredible collection, but it is all so easily organized! I think my sister wants to use my things, too, but I don't have nearly that many! What a treat. (:
