Christmas & New Years Recap

Warning:  This post contains A LOT of pictures.
I know I'm a little late in the game, but here are our pictures from Christmas (in Nashville) and New Years (hosted at our house).

All Christmas photos taken at Opryland Hotel
Inside the hotel they built a "Merry Madagascar" themed ice utopia out of 2 MILLION POUNDS OF ICE...more amazing insane incredible than that was the temperature...9 degrees.  NINE I TELL YA!
...but it was pretty awesome.  freezing, but awesome.

they let us borrow these incredibly stylish marshmallow jackets..note the red nose..
The sculptures were absolutely incredible.  I was literally squealing with delight.  Can I remind you that ALL of that is ICE?  So pretty :-)

New Years Eve party
The theme this year was black and white.  We requested that our male guests wear black and female guests wear white.  It was a lot of fun to see everyone color coordinating and looking great!  We do color themed parties a lot so this was a fun twist on an old tradition.  At midnight we popped these confetti-filled balloons and ran outside to light some fireworks.

Chocolate fountain, definitely the highlight of the party...the only downside was the inevitable chocolate stains I got on my white dress..

We were blessed with a wonderful 2011..here's to an even better 2012!
