Just another reason why I love DVF

Diane von Furstenburg is by far one of my most favorite designers.  She combines a quirky mix of prints and silhouettes, that result in the most amazingly feminine designs.  As if her runway collection wasn't enviable enough, she's got an insane home collection ( remember the gold flatware set you, me, and a million other bloggers pinned?  yep, that was her).  And now, to top it all off I recently found pictures of her insanely AMAZING Manhattan penthouse.

I love that she balances out her over-the-top girly-ness, with rustic, safari pieces.  And that circular tree base dining table is so calling my name.  

Girl Crush: Bernadette Pascua

I'm sure you've seen her gorgeous illustrations gracing the pages of various ads and blogs.  Combine her airy illustrations with fashion and a hint of quirkiness and you've got a home run.

girl crush: miroslava duma

If I had the opportunity to switch lives with someone just for a day it would more than likely be with Miroslava Duma's.  She's the insanely gorgeous, perfectly petite, and incredible talented former fashion editor at Harper's Bazaar (Russia).  The girl can rock fashion like no other and I'm sure you've been seeing this gorgeous pink suit a million times around the blogosphere.  I mean the girl is the bomb diggity ( yes, I did in fact just say that).   And all at the age of 25.  Freakin' 25 people!!  Did I mention that she has a kid also?  Yep, the girl rocked the baby bump too.  Now, she's currently a free-lance writer and runs the famous Buro 24/7.

 I am utterly jealous.

Girl Crush :Daphne Groeneveld

I'm known to have plenty of girl crushes, but this week I have fallen hard. Each photo I found was a million times more stunning than the next and I think I may have developed an un-healthy infatuation with today's girl crush.  Daphne Groeneveld is a 17 year old model from the Netherlands.   You may have seen her gorgeous pictures gracing the cover of Vogue, and I'm sure you've seen her in the Versace for H&M campaign.  She's collaborated with the likes of  Armani,Dior, MaxMara, Miu Miu, Calvin Klein, and my personal favorite - Chanel.  All at the age of 17 people!!!

Girl Crush: Frieda Pinto

You may know her from the hit movie Slumdog Millionaire or her frequent  presence on InStyle's "Look of the Day".  This edition of "girl crush" is all about Freida Pinto..gorgeously glamorous Freida Pinto. I get so excited when I see "minority" actors/actresses get big.  Plus, she has impeccable style...I wouldn't mind sharing her closet :)

Girl Crush: Blogger Edition

This edition of "girl crush" is a wee bit different than the others.  As much as I love certain Hollywood stars, I'm more envious of ordinary girls.  Except in the blogging world, these girls are kind of a big deal.  While they all share a love for fashion ( & food!)..each girl has a unique style that caters specifically to her.

Okay, seriously, this is probably my biggest girl crush.  She has a gorgeous name (Audrey!), has an amazing eye for color, and is one hell of a cook (we're talking everything from tarte's to macaroons.  the pictures make me so hungry!).  Did I mention she's gorgeous?  See for yourself.
